There’s no such thing as too big a screen: Ayaneo NEXT 2 handheld to get a 9-inch OLED display
Developers at Ayaneo have revealed which display the portable flagship NEXT 2 will use, and said they will host a livestream about the device on November 29.
Ayaneo is eager to share fresh details with gamers about the NEXT 2 — a next-generation portable flagship for AAA Windows titles powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor.
It has emerged that the device, equipped with linear Hall-effect triggers and a larger battery, will feature a substantial screen: a 9‑inch OLED panel with a 2400×1504 pixel resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, a live broadcast featuring Ayaneo staff is scheduled to begin on YouTube on November 29 at 10:30 MSK. During the stream, viewers may be shown the full specifications and hear about the device’s primary features.
The team will likely showcase the NEXT 2 running various games and outline plans for the future. A release date has not been announced, and it’s safe to assume the device will not be inexpensive.
