Intended to guide players through the event’s objectives, her overbearing presence has left the community feeling more stalked than supported—but thankfully, this supernatural surveillance is nearly at an end.

The Lost Legacies event functions as a promotional tie-in for the new Royalty & Legacy Expansion Pack, tasking Simmers with investigating various noble bloodlines introduced in the DLC. Facilitating this journey is the Royal Envoy, a character who is notoriously easy to spot—sometimes even marked by a literal beacon in the sky—but frustratingly difficult to evade. She has developed a reputation for appearing uninvited at front doors and interrupting private dates. Because The Sims 4 lacks a comprehensive toggle for limited-time events, even those who attempt to delete her via cheats find that she inevitably respawns.

While the Envoy’s persistence is polarizing, it has also generated a wave of dark comedy as players document her boundary-crossing antics.
