The reissue of the “five” was shown and … postponed

Announcement of the next reissue GTA 5 took place at the Sony presentation summer 2020… Therefore, it was expected to see a new trailer at the PlayStation Showcase 2021, which was held yesterday, September 9, 2021, late in the evening. Somewhat unexpectedly, there was something else.

The release of the “five” for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S has been postponed from November 11 this year next March (2022). But there was no need to be surprised – at one time the game was postponed many times:

• predicted carry from spring to autumn 2013,
• transfer of the PC version to autumn 2014,
• delay of the same version until early 2015,
• moving to March 2015,
• the last reprieve – to April 14, 2015…

The only question is whether the next reprint will be postponed again. And how many times. Since this has happened, it is hardly worth it now expect a remake of GTA: Trilogy before autumn 2022 (may coincide with the 20th anniversary GTA: Vice City, and it will be symbolic, if in the sixth part we return to Vice City). It is unlikely that the publisher will press two Grand Theft Autos in one release window.

In addition, we did not learn any new information. In the video, the developers dispensed with the usual phrases: “improved graphics”, “expanded gameplay”, “smoother transitions between characters”, “explosive action” and “much more.” And no specifics … Absolutely only one thing: owners of PS4 versions and PlayStation Plus subscriptions will continue to receive million GTA $ per month…
