The creators emphasize that this release is not a remaster or a content overhaul. Steam offers the original version, updated only with the patches necessary for stability on modern computers and a new achievement system.
The team tested the software to ensure compatibility with current operating systems. They warn that some technical issues might still arise.
The developers intend to release fixes if players encounter errors. Substantial improvements remain difficult, however, as the original source code no longer exists.
