The Kinks’ Dave Davies has introduced a brand new album of unreleased solo materials. Decade arrives October 12 by way of Red River Entertainment/Green Amp. It consists of works recorded from 1971 to 1979. Listen to the report’s lead single, “Cradle to the Grave,” beneath.
“I am so pleased that after all this time these tracks are being released to see the light of day,” Davies stated in a press release. “These songs have been silently nagging at me to be recognised all these years. At final I can proudly current this album Decade to the world.” Davies’ final solo album, Rippin’ Up Time, was issued in 2014.
A 50th anniversary version of the Kinks’ 1968 album The Village Green Preservation Society was not too long ago introduced.
