The Elder Scrolls Modders Recreating All of Morrowind Will Fulfill Fans’ Dream After More Than 20 Years — and Add the “Gamer’s Grail”
The opportunity to join one of the factions will soon be available.
The team behind the large-scale Tamriel Rebuilt mod for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind recently shared an update on their progress. The project actually predates Bethesda’s release — it was conceived in 2001, a year before the game launched.
The upcoming expansion “Poison Song” is preparing for release, and modders have confirmed what many consider the “gamer’s grail” for Tamriel Rebuilt — players will be able to join House Indoril:
this is one of Morrowind’s Great Houses — traditional Dunmer institutions that began as clans and tribes and later evolved into quasi-political factions.
The Orethan Heartland region will also be introduced, accompanied by an immersive questline.
The Tamriel Rebuilt team continues to steadily develop a canonical vision of Tamriel.
