Beyond the expansive journey through various eras of Batman’s history and his rogues’ gallery, one specific sequence caught my eye: an intense confrontation between Mr. Freeze and the duo of Nightwing and Batgirl. This appears to be a direct homage to Batman & Robin. It’s a fascinating narrative choice to feature this team-up in a context where Dick Grayson has already ventured out to forge his own identity as Nightwing. As an ardent admirer of the character, I am genuinely excited to see how Legacy of the Dark Knight interprets his evolution.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight arrives on May 22. Players eager to get a head start can secure early access beginning May 19 by pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with a release for the Switch 2 confirmed for a later date.
