The Beatles are making a triumphant return to their historic roots. Plans have been unveiled for the first official, immersive fan experience, slated to launch in 2027 at the legendary 3 Savile Row in London—the very site of the band’s iconic 1969 rooftop performance.
Apple Corps Ltd., the entity representing the legendary group, confirmed it is reclaiming the space in London’s Mayfair district to curate a dedicated museum and interactive experience for devotees of the Fab Four.
According to the official announcement, the seven-story Georgian property will house an extensive collection of rare materials pulled from Apple Corps’ deep archives. Visitors can expect rotating exhibitions, a dedicated fan boutique, and a faithful reconstruction of the studio space where the 1970 album Let It Be was recorded.
While various unofficial tributes and tours exist across London, Liverpool, and Hamburg, this initiative marks the first time the band has officially managed a public experience of this scale. Fans can register for updates regarding the 2027 opening on the official 3 Savile Row website.
The location holds deep historical significance; it once served as the central hub for the band’s business affairs. It was also famously the stage for their final public appearance, a moment immortalized in the Let It Be film and revisited in Peter Jackson’s acclaimed Get Back documentary. Apple Corps’ current administrative headquarters remain located in South Kensington.
Addressing the new project, Apple Corps CEO Tom Greene noted, “We are thrilled to bring the company back to its spiritual home and offer something truly unique for the fans. Currently, people flock to 3 Savile Row just to photograph the exterior; by next year, they will be invited inside to traverse all seven floors, including the rooftop, which retains the same railings from that landmark day in 1969.”
Reflecting on the site, Paul McCartney shared, “Returning to 3 Savile Row recently was a surreal experience. The space is filled with such profound memories, particularly the roof. The team has developed an incredibly impressive vision, and I’m eager for people to finally experience it.” Ringo Starr added, “It truly feels like a homecoming.”
This development arrives during a period of renewal for Apple Corps following leadership changes last year. The coming years promise a surge in Beatles-related content, most notably a series of four biographical films directed by Sam Mendes, which will feature Paul Mescal, Harris Dickinson, Joseph Quinn, and Barry Keoghan portraying the legendary band members.
