Team Ninja Head Admits Nioh 3 Issues: “The Game Is Not Perfect”
Developers typically showcase their work with immense pride, especially when a title achieves critical and commercial success. While this holds true for Nioh 3, the creators remain remarkably grounded, acknowledging that the experience is far from perfect and identifying key areas for evolution in Team Ninja’s future projects.
In a recent interview, Team Ninja’s studio head and executive producer, Fumihiko Yasuda, remarked that while the game is an impressive achievement, it hasn’t yet reached its full potential. He noted that the development team is already brimming with innovative concepts to refine their craft in subsequent releases.
When questioned about specific areas for improvement, Yasuda pointed to the game’s narrative delivery, particularly the implementation of environmental storytelling. He suggested that focusing on these elements would help the studio create more immersive and convincing game worlds for players to explore.
Nioh 3 officially launched on February 6, and is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5.
