Taylor Swift Updates Website With New Countdown After Dropping Cryptic Clues

Taylor Swift has launched a two-hour countdown on her website after sharing clues involving the number zero.

As of Tuesday morning (Sept. 22), Swift’s website redirects to https://store.taylorswift.com/password. The page shows a red curtain background with a ticking clock and a note confirming that the countdown ends Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. ET.

Billboard has reached out to Swift’s representative for comment.

The 14-time Grammy winner also updated her Instagram bio and The Life of a Showgirl lyrics on Apple Music to replace the letter O with zeros.

“And, baby, that’s sh0w business f0r y0u,” her bio reads.

Swift included additional clues in a Law & Order: SVU parody shown at the 2026 Emmys. She played a rookie detective alongside Mariska Hargitay and said, “Saccharide. Ares. From the Vineyard. North or South.”

Some observers theorize that the announcement connects to her 2025 album that topped the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks. “Okay so def showgirl related,” one user wrote on X. “Could be: tour, music video, deluxe album.”

Others noted that the third letters of the words from the SVU sketch spell “Encore.”

Other fans suggest the announcement involves the re-record of her 2006 debut album, Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version). “My gut says 000 = 0:00 — a clock reset,” one person wrote. “We’re going back to the beginning. With Debut’s 20th anniversary next month + Taylor saying the remaining re-records would now be a ‘celebration,’ I think we’re finally getting that anticipated ‘20th Anniversary Deluxe’ with vault tracks.”
