Taylor Swift Shows Off Wedding Ring as Travis Kelce Scores First Touchdown of the Season

Taylor Swift celebrated after her husband, Travis Kelce, scored his first touchdown of the 2026 NFL season.

The 36-year-old pop superstar cheered from her suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, during the first quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs’ primetime matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday (Sept. 20) as Kelce found the end zone.

Cameras cut to Swift after the tight end scored, showing her jumping out of her seat and pointing to her wedding ring while appearing to say, “That’s my husband.” NBC announcer Mike Tirico declared, “And the woman with the ring. That’s your guy!”

The “Fate of Ophelia” singer married the NFL star at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3. She wore a sleeveless red Chiefs shirt and blue jeans while watching the game alongside her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift.

Kelce and the Chiefs secured a 33-30 overtime victory over the Colts. Sunday marked the second consecutive week Swift attended a Chiefs game to support her husband.

Swift drew attention following the Chiefs’ 2026 season opener against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14 when she was spotted talking with Tom Cruise in a box suite at Arrowhead Stadium. Cruise discussed the conversation days later on The Tonight Show.

“She was schooling me on football,” Cruise told host Jimmy Fallon. “She was bringing the football. First of all, she’s a genius. I’ve been following her since she was a kid,” Cruise added. “Everybody there, all their friends, they’re a beautiful couple and magical in their own right. Everybody there in that booth. I hadn’t been to a football game since pre-COVID, where I was working and everything. So to get to hang out there and have that moment, it was a lot of fun … she knows her stuff.”

Kelce verified Swift’s football expertise during a bonus episode of New Heights posted Friday (Sept. 18) featuring Cruise, who is promoting his film, Digger.

Cruise brought up the topic, prompting Travis to smile and recall how the 14-time Grammy winner previously thought players were boxing on the field.

“Like, sweetie, what the heck?” Kelce said, praising how quickly Swift learned about his sport. “Now she knows everything. She sees the flags coming in, like, ‘Oh, that might be a defensive hold.’ [I’m] like, ‘What’d you say, sweetie?’ She’s like, ‘That’s encroachment.’ I’m like, ‘You know what that is?’”

“She’s on it now,” Travis added of Swift. “She fully engulfed in it.”
