SZA Announces Exclusive One-on-One Fan Experience to Support Sudan Relief Efforts

Devoted followers of SZA have a rare opportunity to secure an intimate encounter with the R&B sensation, all in the name of a vital humanitarian cause. The “Snooze” singer recently took to social media to amplify a new auction benefiting Freedom for Sudan, offering a personalized hangout to the highest bidder.

While the experience is designed to take place via Zoom, SZA added an exciting caveat for those located in Southern California. “I want to add that if you live in LA, we can hang out in person!” the artist shared on Instagram. “Anything to raise awareness and support.”

The singer expressed boundless enthusiasm regarding the potential activities for the winner. According to her post, the session is entirely customizable, ranging from singing and meditation to discussing global affairs or creating mood boards. “We can do anything! Sing, cry, do yoga, meditate, talk current events, dance, listen to music, become besties… all types of things,” she wrote, encouraging fans to participate in the charitable drive.

In addition to the private meeting, SZA is contributing a signed, five-piece merchandise bundle to the six-day auction, which officially commenced on January 6. She joins an elite roster of artists contributing to the initiative, including The Weeknd, who is offering premium concert tickets, and Olivia Rodrigo. Other participants include Central Cee and PinkPantheress.

The organization Freedom for Sudan noted that 100% of the auction’s proceeds will be distributed to Sudanese non-profits. The mission is to provide direct aid to civilians as they navigate the ongoing violence and displacement caused by the civil war that erupted in April 2023. Reports from the BBC indicate that the conflict has led to a catastrophic humanitarian crisis, with over 120,000 lives lost as of late 2025.

This auction is the latest in a series of philanthropic efforts by SZA. Just last month, she headlined Top Dawg Entertainment’s annual benefit concert. In November, she collaborated with the Los Angeles staple Jon & Vinny’s to distribute 1,400 free meals through her “Not Charity” organization, continuing her commitment to community support and global advocacy.
