Development Update

Hello everyone,

Roughly a week and a half after launch we’ve rolled out several patches and remain focused on post‑release support. We’re steadily working through community‑reported issues, and here’s what you can expect before we pause for the winter holidays.

• 1.17.2 patch (this week): Includes the changes discussed in the previous “Coal Update” post and bundles over 100 fixes and improvements.
• AI improvements: We’re addressing a number of edge cases that trip up the AI. These fixes will lead to noticeable enhancements in naval behavior overall.
• Next steps: After 1.17.2 we’ll move toward a 1.17.3 patch that we intend to release this year. Please keep submitting bug reports — we review every submission.
