Stronghold: Definitive Edition Demo Released on Steam, Surpasses 250,000 Wishlists

Players now have a closer look at the latest installment in the real-time strategy series.

Firefly Studios recently announced Stronghold 4 and launched the game’s Steam page. The team shared early milestones regarding community interest.

Stronghold 4 reached over 250,000 wishlists on Steam. The developers released commemorative art to mark the occasion.

The team also made a demo available on Steam. This prequel takes players back to medieval England.

You can find the Stronghold 4 Steam page here. The studio plans to release the game in 2026.

The strategy title will launch in early access. The developers expect the game to remain in this state for at least six months, though these plans might change.
