Star Wars: The Old Republic’s seventh growth brings again the villain of its first trailer

No Star Wars gaming fan can overlook the awesomeness of the primary CGI trailer for Star Wars: The Old Republic. It was pure Star Wars wish-fulfilment, with a military of Sith Lords taking up a military of Jedi – and a top quality of animation and motion-capture that stands as much as any of the flicks.

Sadly the motion within the game itself wouldn’t stack as much as that epic reveal trailer, however imagine it or not The Old Republic remains to be going, and BioWare has simply introduced the seventh growth for the MMO – merely titled ‘Onslaught’, with a launch date of this September.

Onslaught will see the reignition of the conflict between the Republic and the Sith Empire, with gamers returning to Han Solo’s dwelling planet of Corellia, in addition to a number of different new planets to discover. Perhaps most excitingly for followers, going by the official screenshots for the growth, it would apparently see the return of the star of The Old Republic’s first trailer – the villainous and really Vader-like Sith Lord Darth Malgus.

The new growth will deliver gamers to supposedly Republic-friendly Onderon, the pirate den of Mek-Sha, the jungle moon of Dxun, and a brand new Flashpoint on Corellia – the dramatic finale to the growth, which solo (ahem) and group gamers can check out.

BioWare says in its post about the expansion that the group is including a brand new kind of substances known as Tactical gadgets – which may “alter your abilities and playstyle” and pair them with new bonuses which are each class-specific and basic.

As for Darth Malgus, he was supposedly killed off a couple of expansions in the past – earlier than making a dramatic return on the finish of 2018. His position in Onslaught hasn’t been revealed, however his look in one of the screenshots for the growth suggests he might be a giant a part of the brand new growth’s storyline.
