We are thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with Western Star Trucks once again! From June 5th to 8th, 2026, we’ll be heading to Bend, Oregon, for the highly anticipated Star Nation Experience 2026. This all-expenses-paid adventure will feature two lucky members of the American Truck Simulator community, who have been selected to join the Western Star team for an immersive, once-in-a-lifetime getaway. Curious to see who is joining us?
The Star Nation Experience is an exclusive four-day retreat packed with high-octane activities. Attendees will enjoy gourmet dining, exhilarating whitewater rafting, and the intense X-Series Ride & Drive Challenge at the Madras Proving Grounds. Earlier this week, Western Star officially unveiled the winners from both their community and ours, and we are honored to introduce them to you.
We are equally excited to capture every moment of this journey for a special upcoming episode of SCS On The Road! Without further ado, let’s meet the two ATS community members heading to Oregon.
Nathan
Nathan is a dedicated American Truck Simulator player who balances his time as a professional crane operator and a part-time truck driver for a local contractor. His fascination with heavy machinery ignited when he first climbed into the cab of a 1997 Western Star 4900SF equipped with a CAT C15 engine. Since then, his lifelong passion for Western Star trucks has made him a fixture in the ATS community, where he can frequently be found hauling loads in his virtual Western Star 49X.
“My local contractor is also a massive Western Star enthusiast. He maintains a fleet of classic rigs alongside a newer 2019 4900SF that I operate, pulling a float. My obsession with trucks doesn’t stop at the job site; my home is filled with die-cast models that line my walls.”
Conor
Conor is a passionate fan of our titles, having logged countless miles in American Truck Simulator, most notably behind the wheel of the iconic Western Star 49X. A recent marketing graduate, Conor is eager to merge his professional aspirations with his lifelong love for trucking. Earning his CDL is currently at the top of his personal goals list.
“While my formal degree is in marketing, my heart is set on obtaining my CDL. This trip is an incredible opportunity to turn a childhood dream into reality. It’s also a fantastic step toward finding a niche in the industry where I can leverage my academic background.”
