Square Enix Releases Trailer for Retro RPG Final Fantasy Resonance
Square Enix has released a launch trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance, a retro-style HD-2D RPG. A free demo of the first chapter is available for players who want to try the game first.
Final Fantasy Resonance, developed by Square Enix and Lancarse, is now out on PC and consoles. The launch trailer shows the HD-2D retro visuals, story moments, and battles.
The main characters, Rain and Laswell, fight against Umbra and the Six Oathsworn. Famous characters from the series help them in combat through the Visions system, which has become one of the game’s key features.
The free demo covers the first chapter. Players can carry their progress over to the full game.
The game also includes a hidden boss that Final Fantasy 7 fans will recognize. That detail is timely, since Final Fantasy 7 Revelation is scheduled for April next year.
