Smalland 2: Lost Realms Gameplay Shown as Grounded 2 Rival Takes Shape

New gameplay footage of Smalland 2: Lost Realms shows swimming, parkour, resource gathering, and an expanded character progression system. The survival sequel is set to take on Grounded 2.

After the success of Obsidian Entertainment’s Grounded, a number of imitators entered the market. Among them was Smalland: Survive the Wilds, which launched in 2024 and competed with Microsoft’s game.

With Grounded 2 now on the market, Max Ent Games Limited is preparing its response in the form of Smalland 2: Lost Realms. The game is scheduled for release in 2027.

The new gameplay video shows swimming, the ability to climb almost any obstacle, the destruction of modular objects, and several ways to gather resources in the spirit of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game will also feature an expanded perk system.
