Sister Other Paranoia announced by Serenity Forge and Studio HazeDenki
Serenity Forge and Studio HazeDenki have announced Sister Other Paranoia, a dark visual novel with interactive animation and a surreal horror tone. The project comes from Nyalra, creator of NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE, and leans into denpa fiction, unstable online life and family pressure.
The story follows a quiet first-year university student who can read other people’s emotions as colors. His younger sister is gifted, bright and loved by everyone around her. Envy, malice and constant attention from the outside world push the brother’s mind into dangerous territory.
Choices shape conversations, relationships and the fate of the characters. The developers describe the game through animated scenes, retro horror flavor and a nervous atmosphere where ordinary rooms can turn uncomfortable very quickly.
The announcement trailer shows a pale, almost sterile visual style that contrasts with violent images and childish objects. That contrast makes the bond between the siblings feel fragile rather than cozy.
Serenity Forge also plans to show the project during Anime Expo from July 2 to July 5. Nyalra, voice actors and creators connected with the NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE anime will take part in the event program.
Sister Other Paranoia is announced for PC. The Steam page is open for wishlists.
