Sea Of Thieves gamers are immortalising their real-life pets with its new cats

I do know I gained’t shut up about it, however Sea Of Thieves received cats for pets yesterday. And as in the event that they weren’t good sufficient, pirates are actually welcoming these furry pals aboard their ships to remind them of their real-life kitties. For some gamers, the four-legged crewmates are a type of memorial, too, naming their in-game cats after pets which have handed on, to allow them to sail with them on the seas without end. The picture above is of 1 these newly immortalised cats. It belongs to Twitter person “Nanobreak“, and reminds them of a beloved pet from their childhood.

They aren’t the one one, although. “My kitty that handed away a pair years in the past has now been without end memorialized,” says Reddit person “DoggoHarold“. Now they get to sail off into the sundown collectively each time they need.

Have a click on on the tweet under to see the full-size pictures of “QuaidViktor’s” Captain Sansa. I’m a giant fan of how the fur color of the real-life cat seems to be prefer it’s already carrying an eyepatch.

But it’s not simply handed on pets which might be discovering a brand new house at sea. “Thanks for putting my cat (Ela!) in the game, Rare!” stated Sea Of Thieves fan, “Angeling_“, within the caption for most likely my favorite cat comparability pic but.

This subsequent one is a video game cat named after an actual cat that’s named after a video game character. Not the type of ship Cortana is often on, however I dig it.

And final however not least, right here’s “Lilpwnd’s” seafaring feline, Tali. They may not have a picture of the real-life cat to go alongside it, however they increase an excellent level – when are we getting canines, Rare?

Have to procure your self a feline good friend in Sea Of Thieves but? Does it remind you of your real-life pets? I had deliberate on going for a cat that seemed like mine, however then I noticed a jet-black one that appears like Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service, and I simply couldn’t assist myself.

If you do fancy your self a pet to hitch you in your adventures, cats (and parrots and monkeys) can be found within the game’s premium retailer, the Pirate Emporium, and can set you again about £5.

Sea Of Thieves’ Ships Of Fortune update has loads of other good stuff going on, too – there’s a model new faction, a giant shake-up for Arena Mode, and Rare have even given us the flexibility to revive crewmates once they go down.
