Sea of Thieves: Forsaken Shores launch date delayed for a “bug-free experience”

Sea of Thieves’ greatest replace but is Forsaken Shores, and it was scheduled to launch this week – however alas, that’s to not be. The free growth has been delayed simply over per week from September 19 to September 27, so it’ll be a bit of additional time earlier than you and your crew can hit the volcanic shores of the Devil’s Roar.

“This was not a decision that was taken lightly,” Rare says, “and we know this may disappoint fans who were looking to play the update this week. That said, our priority is to deliver a stable, polished and bug-free experience and we feel that the extra week of development will enable us to do this.”

The official announcement hit at this time, following a submit from govt producer Joe Neate last week suggesting that Forsaken Shores “may not release” based on the unique schedule. This in flip follows a rocky replace to the game earlier this month, which launched an array of bugs and new gameplay options that didn’t get a lot testing time with beta gamers. It appears to be like like Rare is slowing down the tempo a bit to make sure the updates to comply with are as well-polished as doable.

Forsaken Shores is the primary replace so as to add a brand new playable space to the game, full with volcanoes raining down sizzling rocks and superheated water that may boil your pirate alive – and rowboats that will help you get round these new risks.

You’ll be ready a bit longer to get in now, so take a look at the trailer above if want a style to carry you over.
