Saros Receives New Gameplay Trailer and Delay to April 2026

Housemarque, the visionary studio behind Returnal, unveiled a stunning new glimpse of their upcoming third-person shooter, Saros, during The Game Awards. Alongside the fresh gameplay footage, the developer confirmed a slight shift in the production timeline, setting a new launch date for April 30, 2026.
The latest trailer centers on Arjun Devraj—brought to life by actor Rahul Kohli—and his specialized crew as they navigate the treacherous, ever-changing landscapes of the planet Carcosa. The footage suggests that Housemarque’s signature blend of bullet-hell intensity and atmospheric storytelling remains front and center in this ambitious new project.
While the title was initially scheduled for March 20, 2026, the studio is taking a few additional weeks to refine the experience. Given the high bar the developer has set for itself with previous PlayStation exclusives, the brief delay likely serves to ensure the final product delivers the level of polish fans expect.
Pre-orders for Saros are currently available. Players who opt for the Digital Deluxe Edition will grant themselves a 48-hour head start via early access. The mission to survive the mysteries of the eclipse begins exclusively on PlayStation 5 on April 30, 2026.
