ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN adds Hotline Miami outfits, Photo Mode and costume changes

Grasshopper Manufacture has released the first major update for ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN. The update is called ROMEO IS CHANGED, MAN and adds a Hotline Miami collaboration, costume switching and Photo Mode.

The crossover brings two outfits inspired by Jacket and Biker from Hotline Miami. After clearing the game and saving progress, players can use Romeo’s room on the Space-Time Ship to change masks and jackets. The update also includes several additional costume options tied to Grasshopper Manufacture’s action-game history.

Photo Mode is available from the pause menu during 3D gameplay. It lets players adjust the camera, color correction, depth of field and frame art before saving screenshots.

The Steam version received the update on June 26, 2026 at 2:00 JST. The release also mentions a 20% Steam discount and a bundle with Hotline Miami. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are planned to receive the same update and sale later.

ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN launched on February 11, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Windows. The action-adventure game was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by NetEase Games. The age ratings listed in the release are CERO Z, ESRB M and PEGI 18.
