Rockstar Games President Sam Houser has canceled what would have been his first media interview in about 15 years.

The account was shared by GQ writer Sam White. In several tweets that have since been deleted, he detailed an interview that was intended to be a major milestone in his career. Negotiations with the company lasted for four years, and final confirmation was secured this April.

Plans shifted over the course of the past couple of weeks. Houser withdrew his consent for the interview and cited personal reasons. No further information regarding the decision was provided by the leadership figure at Rockstar.
