Mafia 3 Definitive Edition Receives Current-Gen Upgrade for Anniversary
General Information
Anyone who owns the game, whether as a standalone purchase or as part of the Mafia: The Omertà Collection, receives the next-gen upgrade for free. You need to visit the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store and find the new version. The update is available on Steam. If you encounter any issues, contact 2K Games support.
Owners of both digital and physical copies of Mafia 3 on PS4 can download the digital version of Mafia 3: Definitive Edition for PS5, including all DLC. Xbox owners receive the next-gen version only if they own the game digitally. The offer does not apply to disc owners.
Console players cannot transfer their PS4 or Xbox One save data to PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. You must start a new playthrough, which also means a separate set of trophies and achievements.
