Rockstar Banned a “Magic” GTA V Server — Its Creation Cost $100,000
A fan-made project has come under fire.
Developer TeufeurSoff recently reported that Rockstar has banned his SevenWands server for Grand Theft Auto V.
Hello, Cfx.re/FiveM and Rockstar Games. You have blocked my SevenWands server without justification — or on mistaken grounds. I want you to know: I paid the developers and the map authors for 13 months to build my own magical realm. We devised the lore, spells, and factions — everything is the product of my team’s imagination.
TeufeurSoff maintains the project has no connection to “Harry Potter”:
Our project has no ties to “Harry Potter.” Naturally, as fans of the franchise we were inspired by it — I don’t hide my affection — but out of respect for your rules I chose to create an entirely original magical universe from scratch. Everything was produced by our team. Nothing was taken from another server or source, and I have full documentation to prove it.
Support has remained silent for now. The team invested more than $100,000 creating SevenWands, and the project attracted roughly 10,000 players within a few weeks.
