During today’s Nintendo Direct, the spotlight shone on Resident Evil Requiem with an impressive showcase of Switch 2 gameplay. Beyond the digital thrills, Nintendo revealed a collection of physical hardware and collectibles designed to enhance the experience, with some items arriving at launch and others slated for later this year.

To celebrate the debut of the horror epic, a specially themed Switch 2 Pro Controller featuring Resident Evil Requiem aesthetics will be released on February 27, coinciding perfectly with the game’s official launch date.

Collectors can also look forward to a new duo of Amiibo figures. Representing the iconic Leon S. Kennedy and the mysterious Grace, these figures are scheduled for a summer release. Beyond their shelf appeal, these Amiibo will provide utility by unlocking exclusive weapon skins for players to utilize in-game.

Resident Evil Requiem is set to terrify audiences on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2 starting February 27. For those curious about the technical performance on Nintendo’s upcoming hardware, early hands-on impressions suggest the title runs with surprising fluidity.
