Resident Evil Requiem: Free “Leon Must Die Forever” Minigame Challenge Now Available

Leon battling through the intense new minigame challenge in Resident Evil Requiem.

Capcom has officially unleashed Leon Must Die Forever, a high-octane new minigame now available for Resident Evil Requiem. Following its February 27 launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC, this post-game challenge invites players to revisit iconic campaign locations to fight through relentless waves of the undead against a ticking clock.

According to the official announcement, this mode pushes players to their limits with formidable enemy variants, five distinct difficulty tiers, and a demanding time constraint before facing a final boss encounter. A key mechanic involves filling an “enhancement gauge” by dispatching foes, which grants access to specialized “enhancer abilities.” Because these power-ups, enemy encounters, and area sequences are randomized, every run offers a fresh and unpredictable experience.

Beyond this new game mode, Capcom has updated the PC version to include full support for the PlayStation DualSense controller, enabling haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and motion sensor functionality. The patch also addresses various bugs across all platforms to improve overall stability.

Resident Evil Requiem is available now, and in addition to this free content update, Capcom has confirmed that narrative-focused DLC is currently in production.
