Remedy Entertainment Reports Alan Wake 2 Sales
Remedy Entertainment has shared fresh sales figures for Alan Wake 2, which launched on PC and consoles in late 2023.
According to the company’s financial report for the first half of 2026, the game sold more than three million copies in the second quarter. The developers note that the project continues to sell at expected paces. Other games in the series, including Alan Wake Remastered, are also demonstrating stable metrics.
Even though nearly three years have passed since the release of Alan Wake 2, the project remains the fastest-selling game in Remedy’s history. Sales reached 1.3 million copies by February 2024 and exceeded two million in February 2025.

At that time, Remedy reported that Alan Wake 2 had fully recouped its development and marketing expenses. The company now receives practically all subsequent revenue from the game in the form of royalties. The report notes the absence of significant new accruals under platform agreements.
Remedy has released two expansions for Alan Wake 2, titled Night Springs and The Lake House. The latter is especially important for studio fans because it contains hints about the events of Remedy’s next major game, Control Resonant.
