Release Date for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Reviews Announced
Journalists are currently playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Ubisoft will lift the review embargo on July 8 at 13:00 Moscow time.
Ubisoft Singapore rebuilt the 2013 original with updated combat, stealth, and mission design. The developer added new parry mechanics, finishers, and a system for switching between swords and pistols. Naval combat received similar attention, as the Jackdaw now fires explosive barrels and heated shot to cripple enemy sails. Missions offer more freedom, allowing players to approach objectives through multiple paths.
The story now includes expanded narrative arcs for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, alongside three new crew members for Edward Kenway. Ubisoft migrated the game to the Anvil engine, bringing higher-quality textures, updated character models, and new animations. Matt Ryan returns to provide the voice for Edward.
Early reports from critics remain positive. Readers will see full reviews once the embargo ends on July 8 at 13:00 Moscow time.
