Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Grohl, and Vince Staples are set for the 2026 Silverlake Conservatory of Music 25th Anniversary Benefit Concert

Los Angeles’ Silverlake Conservatory of Music will mark its 25th anniversary next month with an all-star benefit concert at the Hollywood Palladium. The Oct. 17 event features headliners the Red Hot Chili Peppers alongside Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Vince Staples and comedian Marc Maron.

Flea, the Chili Peppers bassist and co-founder of the school, shared a message about the milestone writing on Instagram, “Come celebrate a quarter century of The Silverlake Conservatory Of Music! Yeeeeeeeah! Proceeds of course all go to the non -profit school. We teach 1000 kids a week, we are open 7 days a week. Private lessons, ensembles, choir. We are beautiful.”

Tickets for the benefit go on sale to the general public on Friday (Sept. 25) at 1 p.m. ET. A pre-sale begins on Thursday (Sept. 24). Information on VIP packages and sponsorship opportunities is available here.

Flea, musician Keith “Tree” Barry and friend Peter Weiss founded the nonprofit music school in 2001 to address gaps in music education in Los Angeles public schools. The Conservatory currently teaches more than 1,000 students per week and operates a scholarship program serving over 200 students with free lessons, instruments, supplies and ensemble classes for families who cannot afford them.

The school has previously hosted an annual private dinner for fundraising, but this year’s Palladium concert targets roughly $1.5 million in programming funds. Past benefit events featured performances from Beck, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Patti Smith, Bruno Mars and the Chili Peppers.
