The organizers of Record Store Day have officially pulled back the curtain on their 2026 roster of exclusive releases, sparking excitement among vinyl enthusiasts worldwide.

Unveiled on Wednesday, February 4, the comprehensive list features over 350 specialized titles. This year’s collection boasts contributions from a diverse array of musical titans, including David Bowie, Charli xcx, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Billy Strings, The Rolling Stones, Fall Out Boy, and Elton John.

As is tradition, most offerings are limited-edition vinyl LPs featuring unique color variants and stylized packaging. One of the most talked-about entries is Joni Mitchell’s 1972 classic For the Roses. The 2026 reissue will finally showcase the original cover art—depicting roses positioned near a horse’s hindquarters—which was famously vetoed by David Geffen over fifty years ago.

Bruno Mars Takes the Lead

Stepping into the spotlight as the 2026 Record Store Day Ambassador, Bruno Mars is celebrating the occasion with a special compilation titled The Collaborations. This curated set gathers the superstar’s most iconic partnerships, featuring chart-toppers like “Uptown Funk” with Mark Ronson, “Die with a Smile” featuring Lady Gaga, and the viral sensation “APT.” with ROSÉ.

K-Pop and Global Pop Influence

The influence of K-pop remains a driving force in this year’s lineup. HUNTR/X—the fictional group voiced by EJAE, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna from Netflix’s Kpop Demon Hunters—will drop two distinct versions of the film’s soundtrack: the HUNTR/X Edition and the Saja Boys Edition. These releases are packed with exclusive memorabilia, including posters, stickers, and snapshot cards. Additionally, global girl group KATSEYE will release a specialized vinyl featuring a cappella and live renditions of their breakout tracks “Touch” and “Gabriela.”

Live Performances and Award Winners

Bruce Springsteen, fresh off his chart-topping protest anthem “Streets of Minneapolis,” is set to release a massive 5xLP live collection. The set captures his legendary three-hour performance from the 2024 Sea.Hear.Now Festival in Asbury Park. Meanwhile, Olivia Dean—fresh off her Best New Artist win at the Grammys—will share her acclaimed BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session on vinyl, featuring her hit “Man I Need” and a soulful cover of Ravyn Lenae’s “Love Me Not.”

Legendary songwriters Brandi Carlile and Elton John are also joining the festivities. Carlile, a former RSD Ambassador, is offering a live album recorded at her local record shop. Elton John’s contribution is a self-curated set of dance remixes pressed on striking glow-in-the-dark vinyl.

Rock Icons and Family Legacies

Collectors can also look forward to high-profile releases from Robert Plant, who continues his Saving Grace project, and Ziggy Marley, who returns with Brightside—his first full-length album in nearly a decade. Other notable archival releases include Jeff Buckley’s Live À L’Olympia from 1995, a new live album from Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts, and a double LP capturing Madonna’s 2006 Confessions Tour stop in London.

The 2026 lineup also highlights artistic lineages. Violet Grohl, daughter of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, is debuting a 7-inch single that pays homage to David Lynch alongside an original track. Similarly, Sean Lennon is honoring his father’s legacy with Love Meditation Mixes, a 3xLP set that reimagines John Lennon’s 1970 ballad “Love” through nine distinct sonic lenses.

Finally, fans of musical theater can secure Wicked: One Wonderful Night (Live). The live soundtrack featuring the powerhouse duo of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo will be available as a double LP on April 18.
