It appears that the Red Dead Redemption 2 community has finally accounted for every meteorite hidden within the game’s world.

Recently, fans of the Western epic have seen a resurgence in mystery hunting. While some enthusiasts remain preoccupied with deciphering the “spider web” enigma, a dataminer known as pyouneetm has been meticulously combing through the game’s source files to debunk several long-standing myths.

For years, a pervasive theory circulated among players regarding a “third meteorite”—a missing collectible that many believed was simply too well-hidden to find. However, pyouneetm’s findings suggest otherwise. After an exhaustive search through the game’s scripts, the dataminer concluded that the item is entirely absent from the final build, with no mentions of it in the code.

Similarly, the search for the missing Princess Isabeau Katharina Zinsmeister remains a dead end for legitimate players. While modders famously uncovered her character model and even made her playable, she cannot be found organically in the game world.

pyouneetm clarified that the existing code contains a function that merely “verifies the model’s presence to prevent system crashes,” rather than a script designed to actually spawn her as a living NPC.

Nevertheless, digital footprints within the code confirm that her story was once more fleshed out. Traces of a cutscene involving the Princess being handed over to a sheriff were discovered, providing concrete proof that her quest was ultimately cut from the final version of the game.
