Rainbow Six Siege Servers Hacked Again, Handing Out “Meme” Bans

Hackers have once again set their sights on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X.

In late December of last year, the servers for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X were compromised in a high-profile breach. During that incident, attackers manipulated in-game currency balances and distributed unauthorized bans across the player base.

As 2026 kicked off, players reported that the security issues had returned. Members of the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege X community began flooding social platforms with accounts of sudden, inexplicable account locks.

According to these reports, the suspensions last exactly 67 days. This specific timeframe appears to be a deliberate nod to the “6-7” (six-seven) meme popular within the community.

Beyond the wave of bans, other players are finding it impossible to even launch the game, as they are repeatedly blocked by “data synchronization errors.”
