Post Malone has officially rescheduled the initial leg of his highly anticipated Big Ass Stadium Tour alongside Jelly Roll. To ensure he has the necessary time to finalize his upcoming studio album, the singer-songwriter has opted to cancel the first handful of tour dates.

In a candid update addressed to his fans, Malone explained that the decision followed a careful review of his current commitments. Balancing a rigorous live performance schedule with the demands of finishing a new record proved to be unsustainable, leading him to prioritize the creative process.

“Upon reviewing the schedule, it became clear that my initial goals and the reality of the timeline simply didn’t align,” Malone shared. “I promised you all new music, and I need a bit more time to get it exactly where it needs to be before hitting the road. We aren’t quite ready for the tour yet, so I’m pushing the start date back by about three weeks to ensure the music is finished properly.”

This adjustment impacts the tour’s first six shows, which were slated to kick off on May 13 in El Paso, Texas. Subsequent cancellations include stops in Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford, Mississippi. The tour is now set to commence on June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

While industry whispers have suggested the new project might be titled The Eternal Buzz, official details regarding the release remain scarce. Malone expressed his sincere regrets to those impacted by the cancellations, sharing his excitement to return to the stage once the new material is ready for the world to hear.

This delay occurs as Malone builds on a streak of significant commercial momentum. Following the success of his 2023 album Austin and the genre-crossing triumph of F-1 Trillion—which featured chart-topping hits like “I Had Some Help”—the artist continues to solidify his reputation for blending country and roots influences with his signature sound.
