Polish Beaver-Life Simulator Timberborn to Exit Early Access Soon and Receive Visual Upgrade

Polish developer Mechanistry has announced that its city-building game Timberborn is preparing to leave Early Access. The team confirmed the title has sold more than one million copies and maintains an average Steam rating of 95%.

Timberborn spent several years in Early Access, and the developers are now putting the finishing touches on the 1.0 update. Only a few weeks remain until the launch, and the new version can be tested in the beta available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The 1.0 update will bring upgraded visuals (the video below highlights an improved skybox and enhanced bloom), a refined modding system, numerous quality-of-life improvements, and a host of additional features.

This update will be the culmination of years of work by the studio, and Timberborn will finally arrive as a full release while retaining its core charm — industrious beavers building cities after humanity’s demise.
