Retroid announced the pre-order date for the Pocket Nova handheld console. The team shared updated pricing and a video showing the device running various games.
Pre-orders for the Pocket Nova begin on June 27, 2026, at 04:00 Moscow time.
The base model with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs $229 for black, 16-bit, and GameCube-style finishes. Transparent color options—crystal, watermelon, purple, and ice blue—cost $234.
The version with 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage costs $269 for the standard colorways. Selecting a transparent finish brings the price to $274. Every pre-order includes a free ergonomic back grip and a screen protector.
The demonstration video shows the handheld playing several games and highlights its compatibility with a secondary screen mount.
The Pocket Nova features a Qualcomm QCS8550 chip, an Adreno 740 GPU, and a 4.5-inch AMOLED display. The screen supports a 1280 × 960 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The console runs on Android 13, carries a 5000 mAh battery, and includes a 3.5 mm audio jack.
