Pixel Body Horror Game Look Outside Is Coming to Consoles
Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Francis Coulombe have announced that the pixel-art body horror RPG Look Outside will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 30. The game first came out on PC in March 2025.
Look Outside takes place in a single apartment building. A mysterious event turns anyone who looks out a window into a grotesque monster and throws the world into chaos. The protagonist explores hallways and apartments, searches for food, weapons, and other supplies, and meets strange characters, both people and creatures that no longer resemble them.

Exploration requires planning. Players must bring collected resources back home, where they can cook dinner, craft useful items, play games, and build relationships with neighbors who may become allies over time.
Combat is turn-based and features more than 150 unique creatures. Both the choice of weapon and the distance to the enemy matter. Players will have homemade tools and items found during expeditions through the building.
The developers promise about 10 to 12 hours of gameplay, roughly a dozen boss fights, the ability to recruit allies, and the option to invite some characters into the player’s apartment. As the mystery unfolds, players can reach several different endings.
