Need for Speed: Underground 2 Ported to Android
A developer using the handle codepdbh has released an unofficial Android port of Need for Speed: Underground 2, built from the original PC version of the cult racing game. Enthusiasts keep bringing popular games to mobile devices.
The mobile version supports gamepads and touch controls. Players can change the position, size, and look of the on-screen buttons, and gyroscope steering is also available. The settings let players choose a resolution and set a frame rate limit.
Performance looks solid as well. According to the author, version 0.14.9 ran at 100 to 120 FPS on a Galaxy S25 Ultra with Android 17. The game still crashes on some devices, including those with Exynos 850 and Dimensity 7020 processors. The developer is continuing to work on compatibility and optimization.

Running the port requires Android 10 or newer, Vulkan 1.1 support, and the files from your own PC copy of Underground 2.
