In what has quickly become one of the most delightful television crossovers of 2026, PinkPantheress made a memorable guest appearance on the iconic British game show The Weakest Link this past weekend.

The 24-year-old artist and producer joined host Romesh Ranganathan for the Saturday (Feb. 7) broadcast. Her fellow contestants included comedian Harriet Kemsley and Hilary Gish Whitehall—the podcaster and mother of Jack Whitehall—as they faced the show’s signature high-pressure interrogation.

Demonstrating her deep knowledge of the industry, PinkPantheress breezed through questions regarding pop heavyweights like Lady Gaga and Harry Styles. She correctly identified Styles’ “Music For A Sushi Restaurant” and showcased her trivia skills regarding Gaga’s tour history, comfortably securing her a spot in the final three.

However, it was a literature-based round that sparked a viral sensation. When prompted with a question about William Shakespeare, the singer humorously blurted out “Chaka Khan”—a deliberate and witty nod to RuPaul’s infamous 2001 blunder on the same program. The reference immediately resonated with fans, lighting up social media feeds with clips of the meme-worthy moment.

For those in the United Kingdom, the full episode is currently available for streaming on BBC iPlayer.

This televised “sidequest” follows a momentous week for the artist, who recently attended the 68th Grammy Awards as a double nominee. Recognized for her album Fancy That and the hit single “Illegal,” she shared her gratitude with Billboard on the red carpet.

“I truly never anticipated being here,” she admitted, reflecting on her swift ascent. “Starting out as a 19-year-old producing music in my room, you always wonder if that digital connection will actually translate to the real world. To be recognized by the Academy… it’s beyond anything I imagined.”

Her acclaimed project, Fancy That, has solidified her status as a global force, peaking at No. 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart and No. 72 on the Billboard 200, while also garnering a prestigious Mercury Prize nomination. Beyond her musical achievements, PinkPantheress continues to keep fans on their toes with eclectic hobbies, including winning a youth chess grand slam tournament in Bromley and filming a cameo for Impractical Jokers.
