Phantom Blade Zero, the Kung Fu Punk Action Game, Set for September Release

Beijing-based developer S-Game has officially pulled back the curtain on the launch window for Phantom Blade Zero. During a recent showcase, the studio confirmed that its highly anticipated “Wuxia-punk” action title is scheduled to debut on September 9, 2026, for both PlayStation 5 and PC.
Since its initial reveal in 2023, S-Game has kept fans on edge regarding a release timeline, eventually promising a concrete date before the end of 2025. With only a few weeks remaining in the year, the developers have fulfilled that commitment by releasing a blistering new trailer that highlights the game’s rapid-fire combat and dark, atmospheric world.

Early impressions of the title remain exceptionally strong. Following an extensive four-hour hands-on session earlier this year, which included an in-depth discussion with the game’s director, Soul Frame, the project appears to be a sophisticated blend of traditional martial arts and visceral supernatural elements. The fluid mechanics and intricate encounter designs suggest a standout experience for action RPG enthusiasts.
Mark your calendars: Phantom Blade Zero arrives on September 9, 2026, for PC and PS5.
