Persona Creator Discusses Potential Remakes of Early Games
Kazuhisa Wada, a producer who has worked on the franchise since Persona 2: Innocent Sin, acknowledged in an interview with Gamerbraves that he knows fans want remakes of the first two games and believes the studio should definitely make them.
The Persona series has existed for 30 years, but it gained global popularity later. Because of this, fans have long dreamed of remakes for the first two entries following the example of Persona 3.
In the interview, Wada recognized the demand for updated versions of the games and stated that such a project should happen.

At this stage, I cannot say anything with complete certainty, but personally, I think we should definitely do it. I think we must do it.
Fans are currently awaiting a Persona 4 remake and news about Persona 6. Meanwhile, the first two parts of the series remain significantly less accessible to modern audiences.
