Path of Exile Expansion Teasers — “Keepers of the Flame”: Improvements to Stealing and Map Revealing, Identification Without Scrolls, and More
The developers continue to support the franchise’s first installment.
The Path of Exile team will soon reveal content from the “Keepers of the Flame” expansion. Shortly before the showcase they released a series of teasers that disclose several details about the update.
- In patch 3.27, starting with the end of Act One, NPCs in every settlement — and Elena in the hideout — will be able to identify all items in your inventory, eliminating the need for Scrolls of Wisdom.
- The “Stealing” mechanic is being improved: hired thieves will now begin at maximum level, so you can dive straight into illicit pursuits.
- Points invested in the Atlas passive skill tree will be resettable for a gold fee.
Sorting will also be refined:
Opening vast stacks of hard-earned map packs can be intimidating, so in 3.27 you’ll be able to auto-open maps by holding Ctrl and right-clicking. If you still crave the dopamine rush, hold Shift instead of Ctrl and the maps will drop to the ground.
The Path of Exile devs’ special stream is scheduled for October 23 at 22:00 Moscow Time.
