Patch 15.0
Patch Overview

New Features
Chaos Arrives in Siege Mode
For the very first time, the ruinous forces of Chaos are stepping directly into the bitter war between the Imperium and the relentless Tyranid swarms.
Players can now step into battle as Heretic Astartes within Siege mode. Backed by fanatical Cultists and a menacing Helbrute, you must outmaneuver and destroy both the encroaching Hive Fleet and loyalist defenders.
New Siege Map: Hive
The violent Tyranid assault has blown the cover off clandestine Chaos operations on Avarax. Deep within the sprawling architecture of the Hive City, Heretic Astartes are fortifying critical choke points to conduct dark, blasphemous rituals.

Endgame PvE: Crucible Mode
This marks our inaugural true endgame experience. We will actively refine it based on community feedback, with plans to significantly expand Crucible rewards over time.
Designed specifically for Level 25 classes, Crucible is a challenging new PvE mode. Access it via Operations, apply compounding Penances to ramp up the difficulty, and earn exclusive Crucible XP alongside rare cosmetic rewards. Crucible features a dedicated matchmaking pool separate from standard PvE queues.
Climbing the ranks in Crucible mode will ultimately unlock the distinct armor pieces of the Lamenters set.

Tactical Class Rework
The Tactical class perks have undergone a comprehensive overhaul to offer vastly improved build flexibility. Whether you prefer dual-wielding primary armaments, executing devastating Gun Strikes, or wading into melee combat, your playstyle is now fully supported alongside an expanded melee arsenal.
Trials of Resolve #3
Take on fresh Ordeals featuring specialized challenges for the Vanguard and Heavy classes, alongside intense new scenarios for PvP and Siege modes.
New Weapon: One-Handed Thunder Hammer
A swift, versatile melee weapon capable of seamlessly transitioning between precise single-target strikes and wide-reaching area attacks. Build up charges during combat and unleash them to deliver cataclysmic blows.

Wargear Customization 2.2
Wargear personalization has been greatly expanded. Tabards and cloaks now occupy independent slots, complete with full color customization, an expanded palette of fabric tints, and unique camouflage painting patterns tailored for the Sniper class.

Gameplay & Balance Adjustments
PvE Perks
Tactical
These changes are designed to give the Tactical class significantly more diverse build paths. While the baseline Auspex Scan damage multiplier has been toned down, granting Kraken Penetrator rounds natively alongside across-the-board primary weapon buffs ensures balanced overall performance.
- Base perk updated: Bolt weapons now penetrate 1 additional enemy, and non-headshot damage with Bolters is boosted by 20%.
- Prestige perk Exigency Charge has been swapped out for Passive Chambering: “Stowed ranged weapons reload automatically after 10 seconds of disuse.”
- Kraken Penetrator Rounds has moved to the core class tree; its previous slot now houses Armor Reinforcement: “Non-finisher Gun Strikes restore 1 Armor Segment.”
- Steady Aim replaced by Focused Strike: “During a Gun Strike, you maintain composure against Heavy Hits, resist knockback, and take 30% reduced damage.”
- Close Targeting replaced by Vital Data: “Scanning an Extremis or Terminus-class threat immediately refunds 50% of your Auspex Scan charge.”
- Improved Efficiency replaces the former Vital Data slot, causing Auspex Scan to recharge 25% faster.
- Marksman’s Mandate replaces Improved Efficiency: “Enemies highlighted by Auspex Scan take 40% more ranged damage (base damage increased by 50%).”
- Priority Targeting swapped for Pulse Auspex: “Auspex Scan unleashes a concentrated pulse rather than a lingering zone. It holds 2 charges, though the area of effect is reduced by 25%.”
- Target Lock replaced by Mobile Auspex: “Auspex Scan projects directly around you, expanding its radius by 30% and extending duration by 4 seconds (base duration: 5 seconds).”
- Precise Calibration replaced by Bladesman’s Mandate: “Targets marked by Auspex Scan suffer 60% increased melee damage and take 20% more from Gun Strikes (base damage increased by 50%).”
- Expert Timing replaced by Strongpoint: “While inside your Auspex zone, you and your squad inflict 20% more melee damage and take 20% less health damage.”
- Concentrated Fire replaced by Prime Target: “Activating Auspex Scan automatically tags the most dangerous enemy within range with a Gun Strike marker.”
- Marked for Death reworked: “Triggering Auspex Scan debuffs a single Majoris- or Extremis-class enemy in range, doubling all Auspex damage bonuses against that specific target (+100%).”
- Signal Jammer replaced by Tactical Reserve: “Your secondary firearm is swapped for an integrated primary Bolt Rifle.”
- Secure Stockpile: Cooldown increased from 60 to 90 seconds.
Techmarine
- Combat Squad’s Resupply perk now correctly affects Melta Bombs as well.
PvE Firearms
Historically, weapon damage outputs were tightly restricted due to Auspex Scan’s capability to deliver a 3x damage multiplier to the entire strike team. With that efficiency reined in, we are elevating the base damage of nearly all primary armaments to compensate.
- Bolt Rifle: Base damage increased by 10%.
- Auto Bolt Rifle: Base damage increased by 15%.
- Heavy Bolt Rifle: Base damage increased by 5% (excludes the Heroic variant equipped with the Auxiliary Grenade Launcher).
- Bolt Carbine: Base damage increased by 7.5%.
- Instigator Bolt Carbine: Base damage increased by 7.5%.
- Occulus Bolt Carbine: Base damage increased by 15%.
- Plasma Incinerator: Standard fire base damage increased by 10%.
- Heavy Bolter: Base damage increased by 5%.
- Pyreblaster: Base damage increased by 10%.
- Pyrecannon: Base damage increased by 10%.
- One-Handed Bolt Carbine: Base damage increased by 10%.
Melta weapons debuted as powerhouse options but gradually fell behind the broader weapon roster. This update grants them massive baseline damage increases, balanced by sharper damage falloff curves and restricted ammunition pools. This cements their role as utterly lethal close-quarters executioners. These changes apply to Heroic variants as well.
- Melta Rifle:
- Base damage increased by 65%.
- Base ammunition capacity decreased from 15 to 10.
- Standard-Issue: Falloff start distance adjusted from 5m to 2m; maximum damage reduction tightened from 50% to 30%.
- Master-Crafted (Alpha): Falloff start distance adjusted from 8m to 2.5m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.
- Salvation of Bakka: Falloff start distance adjusted from 9m to 3m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.
- Gathalamor Crusade: Falloff start distance adjusted from 10m to 3m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.
- Salamanders (Heroic): Damage falloff introduced, scaling up to a 70% reduction at distances between 25 and 30 meters.
- Heavy Melta Rifle:
- Base damage increased by 60%.
- Base ammunition capacity decreased from 20 to 16.
- Standard-Issue: Falloff start distance adjusted from 5m to 2m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.
- Master-Crafted (Alpha): Falloff start distance adjusted from 8m to 3m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.
- Salvation of Bakka: Falloff start distance adjusted from 9m to 4m; max damage reduction adjusted from 50% to 30%.

- Deathwatch Power Fist (Heroic): Melta Blast attacks can now be chained seamlessly; fixed a bug where specific class and weapon perks failed to buff the Melta Blast.
