Palworld and Windrose Steam bundle: how Complete the Set works

Pocketpair and Kraken Express launched the Palworld + Windrose Steam bundle on June 25, 2026. Its permanent bundle discount was announced as 10%, and Steam configured it as Complete the Set: an owner of Palworld could buy only Windrose through the bundle instead of paying for a second Palworld licence.

Two different survival games

Palworld combines creature collecting with open-world survival crafting, base building and combat. Windrose is a cooperative pirate survival game built around sailing, ship combat, exploration and construction. The bundle grouped them because both support open-world crafting and cooperative play; it did not combine their installations, saves, servers or progression.

How Complete the Set changes checkout

Steam’s bundle page charges for products the account does not already own. Someone who owned Palworld could use the bundle to add Windrose at the bundle discount, exactly as the announcement stated. An account that owned neither title saw both. The checkout total could change when either individual game had another active promotion, so the displayed effective saving sometimes exceeded the bundle’s base 10%.

What the bundle does not guarantee

Bundle ownership does not make the games cross-compatible or grant shared downloadable content. Each store page keeps its own supported languages, multiplayer features, system requirements and Early Access or release status. Family sharing, regional availability and gifting also follow Steam’s live product rules rather than the wording of the 2026 announcement.

Current status versus launch record

GameWith reported the June 25 launch, while Steam lists the two included games and itemised checkout. Product prices and promotions can change, so the displayed total may differ from the launch offer.

Broader survival promotion

The pair later appeared in Pocketpair’s larger Super Survival Summer collection with other survival games. That limited seasonal offer was separate from the two-game Palworld + Windrose bundle and had different contents and conditions. Independent coverage describes Windrose as a cooperative game in ongoing development.
