No Compromise, No Surrender — Hotfix and Korean Localization

No Compromise, No Surrender — Hotfix and Korean Localization

Generals!

Thank you for your reports and suggestions. Presenting Update 1.17.0.1“Musketeer” — a targeted release that delivers urgent frontline improvements and stability fixes.

Feature

Introduced a new “Immobile” cohesion option that disables automatic repositioning for units attached to a battleplan. While this mode is active, planning speed is reduced by 50%. Press Shift+D to open the cohesion menu in the battleplanning UI. (Special thanks to Arheo for working through the night to implement this.)

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue that prevented scrolling the Naval HQ window with the mouse wheel.
  • Resolved a bug where the Naval HQ leader panel did not refresh after assigning a new admiral.
  • Addressed a crash that occurred when loading a save and switching to the 1939 scenario.
  • Corrected an issue where, with “No Compromise, No Surrender” disabled, Tannu Tuva displayed unintended expansionist behaviour.
  • Fixed a problem that could prevent Poland from receiving an invitation to join the Allies when “No Compromise, No Surrender” was turned off.
Additional Notes
  • If you encounter problems, first disable all mods and try again. If issues persist while you have no mods enabled, please file a report and explicitly note that mods were disabled when the error occurred.
  • With the 1.17 “Musketeer” release we have added Korean localization.
  • We unintentionally fixed a longstanding “manual micro” behaviour that our multiplayer community values. Rather than reverting it, we have formalized that behaviour as an official feature (see the Feature section above). Apologies for any confusion.
  • We are aware some users are experiencing issues purchasing the Hearts of Iron IV subscription. We are investigating the cause and aim to resolve it as soon as possible.
