Ninja Gaiden 4 hacked shortly after PC release

The protection for the franchise’s latest entry didn’t last very long.

Ninja Gaiden 4 was released recently. The launch of the new slasher from PlatinumGames also caught the attention of technology enthusiasts.

It wasn’t long before hackers managed to crack Ninja Gaiden 4. The PC version did not employ Denuvo; according to reports, it relied only on standard DRM measures, for which circumvention methods have long been known.

Early Steam reviews for Ninja Gaiden 4 are “Very Positive”, with an 87% rating.
