Following the monumental launch of James Gunn’s DC Universe with 2025’s Superman, the studio is set to expand its cosmic reach with Supergirl. Starring Milly Alcock as the formidable Kara Zor-El—accompanied by her loyal but spirited companion, Krypto—the film promises a high-stakes celestial adventure. Today, we are thrilled to share an exclusive first look at the production, capturing a moment that dedicated fans of the source material will surely recognize.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira, the film draws its inspiration from the acclaimed 2022 comic miniseries, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, crafted by writer Tom King and artist Bilquis Evely. The original narrative follows Kara and a young alien named Ruthye on a poignant, galaxy-spanning quest for vengeance.
