New RTX Remaster of Max Payne 2 Released with Enhanced Graphics
The unofficial RTX build of the shooter is steadily improving, though substantial work remains.
Thanks to NVIDIA RTX Remix, enthusiasts can assemble their own remasters. Darko9.13 continues to work on an updated Max Payne 2.
The modder recently released a new iteration of the RTX remaster. He replaced most textures and some geometry and added light sources. Upscaling was performed with Topaz Photo AI.
The “MaxPayne2REMIXmod_by_Darko913” is available for free on ModDB. It is not a final build, so some graphical imperfections may still appear while development continues.
