Starlight Games has released a Steam demo for Monkey Bizniz, a physics-driven co-op game about hauling an overloaded banana cart through dangerous mountain routes.
The game supports solo play and online or local co-op for up to four players. Each monkey can run, climb, grab objects and help move the cart, but every banana adds weight, and one bad bump can send the cargo back down the slope.
Levels are built as open sandbox mountain areas with hidden bananas, unstable paths and several extraction points at the summit. The press release mentions collapsing platforms, slippery shipwreck zones, swinging bridges and rolling boulders as examples of hazards.
Cooperation is useful, but Monkey Bizniz also leaves room for sabotage. One player can steady the cart, another can work a crane, while a third may decide that betrayal is more fun than careful teamwork.
Progression includes monkey customisation, unlockable outfits, silly animations, upgrades, power-ups and interactive props. According to Starlight Games CEO Gary Nichols, the concept came out of internal game jams after House of Golf VR, where Monkey Bizniz became the prototype that kept making the team laugh.
